A natural intuitive, precognitions throughout childhood lead me to investigate religion, philosophy, divination, and diverse spiritual paths. I have always had, to my memory, an awareness of a greater dimension to the experience of life, and have grown to understand better my perception of an interconnectedness between people, animals, and all life beyond time and space.
I discovered Reiki on my path to greater spiritual understanding, and became a Reiki Master in 2000. I am very grateful for its wonderful gift, which I enjoy sharing through practice and teaching.
My own personal journey has lead me, among much joy and many blessings, to also deal with challenges, including depression and single parenthood. These have served to strengthen my empathy and propel me on a path of self discovery. Life isn't always easy. We are sensitive. However, as Reiki Master Paul Mitchell, once said: there would be a lot less suffering in the world if there were more acceptance of the suffering inherent in being human. Holding ourselves in gentleness has proven to me to be a good way forward.
I love flowers, trees, grass under my feet, and looking out to the horizon across fields of green. I hold a reverence for nature, my greatest teacher and benefactor. It is within her fold that I touch base with my deepest self and sense of living. The earth is grounding. I believe in its power to attract, hold and heal. I am a shaman at heart.
I walk my path through life sharing the knowledge I have gained, the wonder I hold, the understanding I carry, because I am drawn to do so, and in the hope and joy of inspiring others to live as fully as possible, and supporting the life of our planet and the life beyond.
The Great Spirit dwells in the fabric of nature, in the trees and flowers, birds, fish, bear and tiger, as in each one of us. Deeply concerned for the welfare of the earth and all that lives on her, I am dedicated to reducing the use of plastic, recycling, minimising waste, and promoting kindness to all living things.
I also believe in the well-being of laughter, and the power of a smile.
A Touch of my Philosophy
Someone once suggested I paint a picture of my feelings about flowers. After they had left, I sat for a while thinking about what flowers meant to me. Then I took a large piece of paper and wrote the first words that had come to mind: I THINK YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL, and I started drawing. The more of life I live, the more I see flowers as reflections of ourselves. I believe that in God's eye, we are all as beautiful as the flowers. And each one of us holds the possibility of blossoming into fullness of Self. As teacher, healer and guide, I see myself as a gardener of souls, offering assistance on the path towards self-discovery and self-realisation, hand in hand with awareness of the seen and unseen world about us, because everything is interconnected.
I am honoured to help others embrace their purpose and the joy of living, and most importantly: self-love.
I live and work in Bristol, in south-west England. I also have clients throughout the UK and abroad, as much of my work is available over the telephone and Skype. I look forward to meeting you.
